2. Abstract:
Power systems play a pivotal role in energy transition pathways and carbon mitigation reductions. The establishment of renewable energy-dominant power systems has emerged as an indispensable imperative for achieving deep decarbonization. However, this goal is fraught with multifaceted challenges, stemming from the inherent stochastic characteristic of renewable energy sources, the massive interconnection of power electronic devices, the imperfection in market mechanisms, and other factors. In this regard, innovative power system operation and control strategies, renewable energy forecasting technologies, and market mechanism designs are urgently needed to ensure the effectiveness, security, and environmental friendliness of power systems. This session will introduce advanced operation and control technologies for low-carbon power systems, which will help realize the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
3. Topics:
- Power system operation and control
- Power system energy management
- Renewable energy integration
